SCOTCH-YOKE ANTRIEBEThe model series
For each model series different spring modules can be combined with pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders.
For this purpose, torque tables and dimension drawings are available.
The definition is based on the size of the central modules:
HD 085 • HD 100 • HD 130 • HD 160 • HD 200
Pneumatic pressure range
- Standard up to 10 bar – higher pressure on req.
- hydraulic version: up to 210 bar
Torque range
- double acting up to 60.000 Nm
- single acting up to 30.000 Nm
Temperature range
- S (standard): -40° C to + 80° C
- H (high temperature): -15° C to + 150° C
- L (low temperature) to -60° C (-65° C on req.)

Principle: Single acting SCOTCH-YOKE actuator with spring to close action (fail safe).

- rotating shaft – low friction and very low wear
- optimized form of bearing for high durability
- selected materials and high performance lubricants
- therefore permanent and maintenance-free lubrication

Cylinder body without tie rod
- smooth surface (cleaning)
- simpler and stronger painting
- no expansion problems during temperature change
- if required also with tie rod possible

End Stop Adjustment
- adjustment on front side (default)
- screws for the end stop adjustment “OPEN” and “CLOSE”
- on request the end stops can be sideways
- (similar to Jack Screw)
