Properties end caps

The end caps are anodized. Additional corrosion protection by epoxy coating.

Coating method

The ALODUR is a special coating method produced in combination with an electrochemical reaction of the AL – base material. Very good additional corrosion resistance is achieved by EPOXY coating.

 

Body and end caps are separately coated (for maintenance reasons).

 

In conjunction with the normal hard anodizing the inner surface roughness was reduced by 40%, this results in a lower friction in connection with a higher seal longevity.

Application

Suitable for:

General industry, acidic or basic solutions at low concentrations

 

Not recommended for:

Nitric acid, some solvents
